A film replic of leather German police Officers shako - Gendarmerie (III Reich Polizei Tschako für Mannschaften der Gendarmerie).
The gendarmerie (Gendarmerie) was a police formation operating in the province. Its areas of activity were villages and small towns of up to 5,000 inhabitants.
Together with the Security Police (Schutzpolizei - Schupo) it was part of the Order Police (Ordnungspolizei - Orpo).
Shako is made of natural leather.
