Hand-embroidered copy of the officer's collar tabs - Kragenspiegel - WAFFEN SS
Division Totenkopf.

Version after the reform of uniforms in 1940, where in addition to changing the position of the skull to horizontal, the rules require ne units officers to place the skulls facing each other on both collar tabs.

Many officers, however, wishing to emphasize his long service in the unit, against the rules used the tabs with one skull (facing inside or outside), and the other with marked rank, as in the earlier period.

This version represents one tab which with a skull turned to the inside and the other presenting the officer rank.
